I have been the Directing Attorney of Lexington Law Firm since 2004. During the calendar year 2017, our clients had a combined total of 10 million discrete items removed from their credit reports.

Our attorneys are governed by the rules of professional conduct in the states in which they are licensed. Also,we have direct relationships with the three major credit bureaus.

6. What can a customer expect from a credit review?

Once a client contacts Lexington Law, we help them obtain their credit reports from the three major credit bureaus: TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax. Since each client’s case is unique, we collect specific information regarding their particular circumstances for each item in question. Casework involves the review the review of the client’s credit reports and then direct appropriate correspondence to the creditors and the credit bureaus.


7. What is the success rate of your credit repair program?

We have been successful with many of our clients’ cases. However, please remember that the facts behind each case are different and the results may vary for each client.


8. Do Lexington Law have a guarantee?

No, we do not guarantee results. Each client has a unique set of facts which means that results will vary with each client. It’s also worth noting that it is illegal under CROA (Credit Repair Organizations Act) for a credit repair company to guarantee results.


9. What would you say to all consumers who are struggling with their credit score?

Look at your situation. If you do not have a budget, start there. Develop a budget where you can meet your obligations and stick to it. Next, know what is on your credit report. If you do not recognize a listing, investigate it. Then, be aware of how you are using your credit. Determine if you have maxed out your cards. If you have, get your cards to a more manageable level. 30% of your credit card balance is a good rule of thumb.


10. What is the ONE piece of advice you give to anyone who asks you “how can I improve my credit score fast”?
